Why Tier 3 still has a positive ROI despite the ratio being lower: The total contract value of accounts opened at large international shows is dramatically higher than at boutique shows. A distributor relationship opened at Ambiente or Maison & Objet may represent $50,000 to $200,000 in annual revenue. The CPL is high, but the denominator (lifetime account value) is large enough to make the math work.
